My Macs
My Macs
One line version:
The original "code pounder", I am a Windows developer by day and a Mac guy by night, slowly but surely (well, slowly anyway) teaching myself Xcode / Cocoa, and AppleScript.
One paragraph version:
Well, let's see. I have been a professional software engineer for 18+ years, and a "Windows developer" for a little more than a decade, based in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee. And, despite the fact that my very livelihood is predicated upon Windows development and Microsoft development tools (hehehe, he said "tool"), I am a Mac fanatic. I like to think that being a "Mac guy" in a world of Windows apologists gives me a measure of objectivity and perspective (in both worlds) that many others just don't have. But then again, I could be wrong.
"Deeper understanding of me" version:
For a deeper understanding of me, you'll have to understand this joke--when you understand this joke, you'll understand me:
Mac Mini (PPC):
- 1.42 GHz PowerPC G4 Processor
- 1 GB SDRAM
- 80 GB Ultra ATA HDD
- Slot Loading SuperDrive
Powerbook G4:
- 1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 Processor
- 17" Widescreen Display (1440x900)
- 1.5 GB SDRAM
- 100 GB Ultra ATA/100 HDD
- Slot Loading SuperDrive

Two marshmallows are just outside playing in the dooryard; they decide to go for a walk. So these two marshmallows are walking across a footbridge and one of them falls off. The other one looks down at the first marshmallow and says "Radio? What radio?"
